Nuclear Medicine Technologist Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist Lead to join our team at St. Luke's Health-Memorial. As a key member of our Imaging Services department, you will be responsible for operating diagnostic equipment and ensuring the efficient daily operation of the Nuclear Medicine Department.
Responsibilities- Perform nuclear medicine studies and produce high-quality images under the direction of the Medical Director and Director of Imaging Services.
- Prepare nuclear medicine suites and coordinate patient flow to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Maintain patient safety through attention to detail, equipment safety checks, and adherence to department policies.
- Provide patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test.
- Assist patients with basic patient care needs and coordinate patient flow and activities of the nuclear medicine department.
- Responsible for proper maintenance of equipment, accreditation, and departmental performance improvement.
- Graduate of Nuclear Medicine Technology Program from an accredited institution or graduate of Radiologic Technology Program from an accredited institution.
- Two (2) years related work experience.
- Preferred: Three (3) years of experience in discipline.
- Licensed as Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) with Texas Medical Board (TMB).
- Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT (N) or CNMT.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA).
- Alpha/numerical dexterity and handwriting skills.
- Interpersonal skills for communication.
- Written and oral communication skills.
$53.46/hour
