Job Title: Process Optimization Manager

Are you a seasoned Chemical Process Manager looking to advance your career in the semiconductor sector? We have an exciting opportunity for you with a leading company in the semiconductor industry, renowned for its precision plating and advanced metal fabrication.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of direct experience in an electro-plating job shop or chemical vendor technical service department. They should demonstrate strong technical expertise in troubleshooting, process control, and improving chemical processes to maximize production efficiency. Familiarity with plating specifications, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and leadership in managing critical processes and special projects is essential. Additionally, the candidate must excel in providing technical support and guidance to both production and lab personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot processes when there are issues or delays in production due to chemistry, procedure, or equipment
  • Continuously monitor and improve existing processes to increase the quality of product and maximize operating efficiencies
  • Assist analytical and operating personnel(s) in their daily duties to ensure the processes remain within control specifications
  • Implement/monitor Statistical Process Control for all chemical processes
  • Create and present SPC analysis reports to upper management on a weekly basis
  • Maintain all chemical make ups and main constituent add backs for all plating baths
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties in the chemical storage room

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership to production platers on new/existing jobs, as required
  • Help develop and directly manage all "critical processes"; to include certain EPI gold jobs and/or any rework jobs as determined "critical"
  • Provide technical support to lab personnel(s); inclusive of providing complete lab back-up when necessary
  • Personally manage "special project/processes"

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of direct experience in an electro-plating job shop or chemical vendor technical service department
  • Strong technical expertise in troubleshooting, process control, and improving chemical processes to maximize production efficiency
  • Familiarity with plating specifications, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and leadership in managing critical processes and special projects
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
