Your Responsibilities

We are seeking a seasoned leader to establish and implement new product development methodologies that will enhance our capacity to deliver exceptional product solutions for our customers. You will be tasked with innovating collaborative strategies for cross-functional teams to improve outcomes, reduce development expenses, scale operations, and enhance product quality while ensuring alignment with key stakeholders. A mindset of curiosity, creativity, and a commitment to excellence in customer innovation will be essential in your daily activities.

Key Activities Include:

  • Assessing current product development processes using your expertise in industry standards and recommending enhancements or new strategies that prioritize customer satisfaction while optimizing speed, cost, scalability, and collaboration.
  • Collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and other operational and financial stakeholders to meticulously develop, implement, and maintain new development frameworks.
  • Identifying and creating new portfolio metrics, tools, and systems to support our objectives.
  • Providing hands-on support, training, and resources to guide teams through the implementation of new processes.
  • Promoting new methodologies across key cross-functional teams.
  • Engaging with and influencing cross-functional teams to refine their processes for more effective product development.

Qualifications

Basic:

  • 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence senior leadership through data-driven insights.
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
  • Familiarity with key program management techniques, including Gantt chart scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and status communication.

Preferred:

  • Experience in market research, statistics, finance, or qualitative/quantitative analysis.
  • Experience in managing feature delivery and product trade-offs.
  • Proficiency in designing and overseeing product development processes and tools.

Our compensation reflects the labor market across various US regions. The base salary for this role ranges from $124,500 to $206,000, depending on geographic location and other job-related factors. Amazon offers a comprehensive compensation package that may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
