Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely provision of appropriate spiritual services, either directly or by coordinating with community clergy or spiritual advisors.
  • Deliver direct spiritual care to patients and families in alignment with their beliefs and practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of spiritual service utilization and related activities for quality assessment and performance improvement.
  • Act as a liaison for hospice spiritual services within the community, fostering relationships and providing education to various clergy, counselors, and congregations.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited seminary or theological school (BD, MDiv, or equivalent degree).
  • Experience in working with terminally ill individuals and their families or caregivers.
  • Previous hospice experience is preferred.
