Position Summary

The Table Games Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional service for both internal and external guests at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Atlantic City. This position is tasked with overseeing a designated area of the gaming floor, which includes multiple table games, to uphold the highest standards of customer service while safeguarding the integrity of the games.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure game security and protect company assets consistently.
  • Engage with guests during gameplay to foster relationships that encourage loyalty and repeat visits.
  • Address and resolve guest disputes or concerns while maintaining professionalism and regulatory compliance.
  • Adjust staffing levels in accordance with business volume.
  • Enforce all gaming procedures and policies effectively.
  • Prepare necessary reports for shifts and other operational needs.
  • Recommend policy or operational improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including state and federal labor laws and gaming regulations.
  • Utilize discretion to offer complimentary services as per the approved guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all proprietary information and trade secrets.
  • Monitor player ratings and manage chip inventory for all tables in the assigned area.
  • Ensure the gaming area is well-stocked and that all equipment is functioning properly.
  • Observe gameplay volume and make necessary adjustments.
  • Oversee fills and credits during the operation of the supervised games.
  • Supervise Table Games Dual Rate Supervisors and Dealers, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal standards.
  • Assist with payroll processes to guarantee accurate and timely employee compensation.
  • May provide training to staff, assign work areas, evaluate performance, and address employee and guest concerns.
  • Assess the efficiency and customer service skills of dual rate supervisors and dealers.
  • Serve as a role model for all employees, representing Hard Rock AC positively.
  • Collaborate effectively with others while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess or be eligible to obtain a NJ Casino Employee Registration license.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in table games is necessary, with two years in a management capacity preferred.
  • Proficient in at least three core games, including Blackjack, with knowledge of other games such as Craps, Roulette, and various poker derivatives.
  • Understanding of table games mathematics, procedures, game protection, and regulatory training requirements.
