Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Capital Markets Trust Administrator to join our team at M&T Bank. As a key member of our trust administration team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and support to our high net worth private and institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the administration of trust and entity accounts, including collecting critical documents, processing cash disbursements, trades, and account balances.
  • Support less experienced account relationship managers with limited supervision, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries and facilitating client requests in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain industry knowledge applicable to the business and demonstrate the ability to articulate that knowledge internally and externally.
  • Provide effective support to team members and promote a positive working relationship with internal and external service partners.
  • Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite.
Requirements
  • Combined minimum of 4 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 1 year relevant work experience with direct client contact.
  • Strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree focused on Finance, Business, Economics, or Accounting and a minimum of 1 year relevant work experience with direct client contact.
  • CCTS (Certified Corporate Trust Specialist) certification if corporate trust focus.

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $38.40 Hourly (USD). The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
