Psychiatrist - Mental Health Specialist

Catholic Charities Serving Central Washington is seeking a highly skilled Patient-Centered Psychiatrist to join our team. As a key member of our mental health services, you will provide high-quality psychiatric care to individuals in need, promoting hope and well-being in our community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Comprehensive Psychiatric Services: Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medication as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with our clinical staff, crisis services, and medical services manager to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Consultation and Education: Provide expert consultation to staff, coordinate with outside physicians, and educate patients on medication benefits and risks.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Maintain accurate records, adhere to agency policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Education and Licensure: ARNP, MD, or DO with Psychiatric Board Certification, current licensure in the State of Washington, and active DEA License to prescribe.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of direct patient care experience in psychiatric services and 2 years in pediatrics.
- Skills: Electronic Medical Records (EMR) skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and as a team member, and bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
