Job Summary
NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Capital Projects Manager to lead the implementation of capital projects from design to completion, enhancing equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in managing outside engineering firms and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
Promote and participate in safety and environmental stewardship activities.
Perform effective studies and execute project tasks using a Stage Gated process. Conduct thorough reviews, Hazard and Operability Studies (Hazops), and What If analyses for operations and proposed changes via the plant Process Safety Management of Change (MOC) process. Interact with operators and shift supervisors to learn and share knowledge of plant operations. Identify and implement production, reliability, efficiency, and cost improvement opportunities as required per project needs. Perform special studies/projects as directed by the Project Engineering Supt. Attend area team meetings to maintain communications concerning project issues, status, and schedules. Participate in joint plant/equipment/safety walkthroughs with operations and maintenance. Ensure projects are integrated into planned outages and turnarounds. Execute projects via a project team that includes production engineers, maintenance engineers, equipment specialists, and operations/maintenance personnel. Coordinate schedules of in-house and outside contractors construction work with area Production Specialists, Area Managers, Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, and E&I Supervisor, and Projects Field Supervisor. Perform up-front engineering to adequately define project scope, technical risks, estimate, and schedule before AFE preparation. Execute projects that enhance SHE, quality, reliability, and efficiency performance of the site.

Requirements
BS Degree in Mechanical (strongly preferred) or related engineering discipline. Minimum of 5-7 years engineering experience in the chemical process industry including project management experience of $5M budgets. Proof of eligibility to work legally in the United States.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 depending on experience.
