Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Health Policy Project Manager to join our team at Oregon Health & Science University. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our public health and health policy projects, including those focused on federal Medicaid flexibilities and investments in social determinants of health and health equity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key partner groups, including payers, policymakers, and health systems
  • Develop and disseminate project materials, including presentations, education sessions, and evaluation instruments
  • Oversee project teams and staff, providing direct and indirect supervision and mentorship
  • Monitor project activities and support program development
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as public health or health policy, and 3 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a multi-task environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on health policy projects, particularly those focused on Medicaid and social determinants of health
  • Strong knowledge of state government and Medicaid programs
  • Experience managing staff and budgets
  • Understanding of quality improvement and systems change in healthcare
