Role Responsibilities:
The Bilingual Spanish Counselor plays a crucial role in delivering our DUI curriculum, aimed at guiding clients towards meaningful behavioral changes. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining current AOD Counselor certification and required continuing education units (CEUs).
- Conducting client intakes, explaining contracts, and identifying client needs.
- Enrolling clients in appropriate programs and managing payment schedules.
- Preparing necessary documentation such as DL107 and proof of enrollment certificates.
- Tracking client attendance and issuing completion certificates.
- Facilitating educational groups and conducting assessments in accordance with established standards.
- Providing counseling to individuals facing substance abuse issues.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with court and program requirements.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Bilingual in Spanish, with proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing.
- Possession of a valid California certification for AOD counseling (MFT, SUDCC, RADT/CADC, or CATC).
- Consistent and reliable attendance.
- Experience with internet software and video conferencing tools.
- Familiarity with basic office equipment and procedures.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, On-Call
Compensation: $27.00 per hour
