Bilingual Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neuroscience team at the University of New Mexico Hospitals. As a Bilingual RN, you will provide direct nursing care to patients and serve as a clinical leader for other staff members.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver safe and effective direct care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating age-specific considerations and discharge planning.
- Participate in orientation and precepting of new personnel, ensuring a smooth transition to the team.
- Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consent and documentation.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families, adhering to hospital standards.
- Current RN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement.
- CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer certification within 30 days.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
