MAINTAINING AIRCRAFT STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY
In the event of damage to an aircraft, prompt and effective repairs are crucial to ensure its return to operational status. Aircraft Structural Repair Specialists are tasked with restoring the high-quality frameworks of Air Force aircraft.

Employing a variety of techniques, these experts are responsible for tasks ranging from the installation of replacement components to the fabrication of entirely new structures, all aimed at preserving the aircraft's structural integrity and safeguarding the safety of the Airmen who operate them.


ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Before enlisting in the Air Force, candidates must fulfill several criteria.

These criteria pertain to personal history, physical health, and other standards established by the Air Force, the Department of Defense, and federal regulations.

Minimum Educational Requirements
Applicants must be between the ages of 17 and 42, be U.S.

citizens, and achieve a qualifying score on the ASVAB. *High school students may initiate their application process at the conclusion of their junior year.

Individuals who have not graduated or do not possess alternate credentials must secure an AFQT Test score of 65 or above on the ASVAB.
