The Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) at Memorial Healthcare System is in search of a skilled and dedicated Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to enhance our expanding team.

Position Highlights:

  • Memorial serves as a quaternary care regional referral center, catering to a diverse patient population with over 13,000 deliveries each year.
  • Applicants must be board eligible or board certified in MFM, possessing extensive knowledge and experience in ultrasound, fetal diagnostic assessments, and the management of medical and surgical complications during pregnancy.
  • This role involves a high-volume, consultative service that addresses a wide array of rare and complex conditions.
  • Key responsibilities include conducting prenatal diagnostic procedures, such as amniocentesis, along with managing co-morbidities in pregnancy in collaboration with obstetricians.
  • There is a strong emphasis on multidisciplinary teamwork with our exceptional group of subspecialists, particularly concerning our maternal and fetal navigation initiatives.
  • The Division works closely with High-Risk Obstetric Hospitalists in our specialized Placental Accreta Center of Excellence, as well as the Pediatric Surgery Department in developing a Fetal Care Center.
  • The ideal candidate should have a genuine interest in resident and medical student education, as we play a crucial role in Memorial's ACGME-accredited Ob/Gyn Residency Program.
  • There are options to engage in deliveries and surgical procedures, especially for accretas and cerclages, if desired.
  • Collaboration with a pediatric surgeon trained in fetal surgery is expected, along with opportunities for clinical research.
  • Experience in chorionic villus sampling (CVS), fetal procedures, and/or critical care is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • This is an employed position within the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group.
