Position Overview

  • Candidates must have completed training from an ACGME-accredited program and should be an active candidate or certified by the ABOG (Board Certified Diplomate preferred).
  • The selected candidate will work collaboratively with local physicians to guarantee that patients admitted to the hospital receive exceptional care, ranging from standard obstetric and gynecologic services to complex high-risk procedures, supported by a multidisciplinary team that includes midwives, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and neonatologists.
  • The ideal applicant should have significant experience in managing high-acuity and high-risk cases as well as intricate medical conditions.
  • Key responsibilities encompass labor and delivery, postpartum care, emergency department triage, inpatient consultations, urgent and elective gynecologic surgeries, along with outpatient services.
  • This position offers a hybrid, hospital-centric practice with an average of 178 clinical hours per month.
  • Successful candidates will be expected to fulfill a combination of three to four 8-hour office sessions, along with either 24-hour or 16-hour inpatient shifts.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have a strong interest in teaching and quality enhancement, as participation in Memorial's ACGME-accredited OBGYN Residency Program is highly encouraged.
  • Extensive resources for academic development are available, ranging from clinical research to basic science investigations, through partnerships with nearby universities.
