Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a full-time Mechanical Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of various mechanical projects, adhering to industry standards and client specifications.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $66,560 to $90,000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct project estimating through detailed take-off and analysis.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, including manpower allocation.
  • Oversee the management of Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Prepare comprehensive submittal packages for project approval.
  • Facilitate the flow of contractor-provided submittal data.
  • Assist in populating necessary project documentation.
  • Prepare project progress billings in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Support technical analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving for HVAC and plumbing systems.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a basic understanding of HVAC and plumbing design and system operations, as well as knowledge of commercial and industrial construction processes. Familiarity with construction estimating and testing procedures for HVAC systems is essential. Proficiency in MS Project, MS Access, MS Excel, and MS Word is required, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience:
A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline is recommended, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction project engineering role.
