Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Worker/Cashier to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring the highest quality food and beverage products are served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cashiering duties, including operating a point-of-sale system and handling customer transactions.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers, including operating kitchen equipment and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces, and adhering to food safety and handling procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including responding to customer inquiries and resolving customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives, including collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Previous food service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending.
