Position Overview:

The Culinary Service Associate plays a vital role in preparing and assembling food items while delivering excellent customer service and complying with food safety, handling, and sanitation standards. The specific duties and responsibilities of this position may differ by Academy Charter school location based on the unique requirements and needs of each school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and assembles food items following standardized recipes and guidelines
  • Stores food appropriately by adhering to food safety regulations
  • Sets up workstations including preparation tables, service counters, hot wells, steam tables, etc.
  • Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes workstations
  • Serves meals to students, faculty, and staff while ensuring customer satisfaction and anticipating their needs
  • Restocks food items and maintains appropriate inventory levels

Compensation Transparency: The hourly wage for this position ranges from $17.00/hr. to $21.00/hr. The base pay offered may vary within this range based on several factors, including but not limited to education, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in food service is preferred
