Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our team at AdventHealth DeLand. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for performing Nuclear Medicine/PET/CT Imaging studies, handling and administering Radionuclides, and providing basic patient care within the scope of practice and departmental standards.

Responsibilities
  • Perform Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT Imaging studies
  • Handle, administer, calculate dosage, and prepare Radionuclides as required
  • Position patients and equipment, change collimators, select technical factors, and process data to produce imaging meeting Radiologist standards in a safe and timely manner
  • Use Syncor computer to maintain radioactive material records, quality assurance records, and disposal records as required by department policy and State regulations
Requirements
  • Must be a graduate of an ARRT or NMTCB approved program with current ARRT or NMTCB registration
  • Current Florida Nuclear Medicine license
  • Newly graduated technologist should be able to work unattended shifts with only occasional guidance needed within six months
  • Experience technologist should be able to work independently in one month
  • Associates degree preferred
