The role you’ll contribute:

2/28/22 Performs Nuclear Medicine/PET/CT Imaging studies. Handles, administrators, calculates dosage and prepares Radionuclide. Acting Radiation Safety Officer for AHI. Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and departmental standards. Assists in Radiology department as needed. Nuclear Medicine/PET/CT marketing to physician referrers for AHI.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· Performs Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT Imaging studies.

· Handles, administers, calculates dosage and prepares Radionuclides as required.

· Positions patient and equipment, changes collimators, selects technical factor and processes data to produce imaging meeting Radiologist standards, in a safe and timely manner.

· Uses Syncor computer to maintain radioactive material records as well as quality assurance records, disposal records as required by department policy and State regulations.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· Must be a graduate of an ARRT or NMTCB approved program with current ARRT or NMTCB registration

· Current Florida Nuclear Medicine license

· Newly graduated technologist should be able to work unattended shift, with only occasional guidance needed within six months

· Experience technologist should be able to work independently in one month

· Associates - preferred

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

· ARRT or NMTCB registration
