Work Schedule:
This is a Per Diem position with varied shifts.

Role Overview:
The Medical Laboratory Scientist I is responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests in designated areas as licensed or certified. This role typically involves:
  • Analytical testing of blood and other biological specimens
  • Engaging in pre-and post-analytical processes
  • Following laboratory policies and maintaining quality control

  • Conduct pre-analytical activities, including equipment maintenance and specimen collection
  • Perform all required tests accurately and efficiently
  • Participate in proficiency testing while adhering to regulations
  • Report results in accordance with established procedures

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Required: Associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent training.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related sciences and one year of clinical lab experience.

Licensure:
- Required: Appropriate laboratory licensure for the state or national certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist.
