As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) within the Acute Care Medicine Specialties, you will be entrusted with providing essential patient care under the guidance of a registered nurse. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the well-being of patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Location: UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion
Department: Medicine Specialties
Employment Type: PRN, 0.0 FTE
Shift: Days
Compensation: $37.03/hour, commensurate with experience
Essential Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program.
- Valid state licensure as a Practical Nurse (LPN) or Vocational Nurse (LVN).
- IV certification is required.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
- Assist in patient assessments by gathering pertinent data for the RN's analysis.
- Implement care plans, including tasks such as specimen collection and wound management.
- Support patients in daily living activities, including hygiene, nutrition, and mobility.
- Monitor and document patient conditions, communicating any changes to the healthcare team.
