UCHealth is seeking a Clinical Assistant to support our Acute Care Virtual Health team. As a Clinical Assistant, you will provide routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office. This role requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with performing patient care under the direction and supervision of a provider or nurse.
- Perform basic clinical skills and specimen collection, monitoring and communicating changes in patient conditions, and documenting patient care provided.
- Maintain equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting, and maintain examination areas.
- Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
