Job Description

Job Summary:

Momar, a leading specialty chemical manufacturing company, is seeking a highly skilled District Sales Manager to lead a team of sales representatives and drive business growth in the water treatment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create and implement sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets within the district, identifying market opportunities and capitalizing on them.
  • Lead and Mentor Sales Team: Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and support the professional development of a team of sales representatives.
  • Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Foster strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners, addressing their needs and concerns to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, utilizing this information to adjust strategies and stay ahead in the market.
  • Sales Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, preparing and presenting regular reports on sales activities, achievements, and forecasts to senior management.
  • Product Knowledge and Training: Maintain a thorough understanding of Momar's water treatment products and services, providing training and support to the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Contract Negotiations and Sales: Lead contract negotiations and close sales deals with clients, ensuring that terms are favorable and align with company policies and objectives.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, customer service, and technical support, to ensure a seamless customer experience and effective solution delivery.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 Years of Sales Experience: Possess a minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the water treatment industry or a related field, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
  • Proven Sales Track Record: Demonstrate a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting and Traveling: The ability to lift and/or carry at least 20 pounds unassisted and frequently travel within the district, including visiting client locations and attending meetings.
  • Personal Protective Gear: The ability to wear personal protective gear, as needed.
