Human Genetics Physician Opportunity

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking a skilled Human Genetics Physician to join our team. As a Staff Physician in our Human Genetics Division, you will be responsible for delivering safe and effective medical care to our genetics patients.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in genetics call/consult schedule for general and biochemical genetics, with support from VMP Genetics physician support services for biochemical genetics as needed.
- Manage outpatient clinics, with an estimated 4-5 clinics per week when not on service and 0-1 clinic per week when on service.
- Conduct administrative work, inpatient care, and outpatient care, with a focus on 20% administrative work, 20% inpatient care, and 60% outpatient care.
- Collaborate with the Hospitalist service to manage patients with metabolic conditions.
- Must have an M.D., D.O., or equivalent medical degree.
- Hold an active unrestricted medical license.
- Complete medical credentialing through Cincinnati Children's Medical Staff Services Office.
- Finish all required pre-employment activities.
- Previous clinical experience is required.
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, or another specialty.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and CPR Certification.
