Product Specialist

As a Product Specialist at Employbridge, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our company's products in the heavy equipment industry. Your extensive knowledge of heavy equipment and exceptional communication skills will enable you to provide expert support to both internal teams and external customers, ensuring seamless understanding and utilization of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers, showcasing the features and benefits of our equipment.
  • Develop and implement business growth strategies to meet company objectives, identifying opportunities for expansion and improvement.
  • Travel extensively (60% of the time) to engage with customers, dealers, and internal teams, fostering strong relationships and driving product adoption.
  • Serve as the primary product expert, providing technical support and guidance to sales, marketing, and customer teams, generating enthusiasm and motivation among team members.
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to provide updates, reports, and product specification changes, ensuring alignment and consistency across teams.
  • Contribute to the prospecting and sales processes, turning sales leads into opportunities through effective presentations and demonstrations.
  • Establish and maintain professional, ethical, and positive interactions with customers and the construction equipment community, upholding meticulous standards and attention to detail.
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide technical expertise to support sales efforts, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, providing ongoing product support and training to ensure their success with our equipment.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and competitive products, providing valuable insights to the development team for product improvement and innovation.
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials, including product brochures and technical specifications, to effectively communicate product value and features.
  • Train internal teams on product features, benefits, and competitive positioning, ensuring a deep understanding of our equipment and its applications.
  • Support the product launch process, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product releases and a seamless customer experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the heavy equipment industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively, driving innovative solutions and product improvements.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, fostering strong relationships and driving business success.
  • Proficient in using software and technology tools relevant to the machinery industry, staying up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements.
