Key Responsibilities:

As a Liquor Sales Associate at Big Y, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality products, and creating a positive shopping experience.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Exceed customer expectations by preparing fresh products and providing World Class customer service.
  • Build relationships with customers to create sales and plan events.
  • Check stock status and item prices in the inventory system.
  • Process customer orders in-store and over the phone.
  • Maintain department conditions and supplies.
  • Operate, clean, and reassemble equipment/machinery.
  • Receive product, bag/box products, and perform other tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Ability to represent Big Y's Culture of Caring and Pursuit of Excellence.
  • Passion for spirits and food through interactive sales techniques.
  • Project a clean and professional appearance.
  • Be a team player with a positive attitude and businesslike conduct.
  • Ability to operate within Company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Work a flexible schedule in accordance with store needs.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
  • Ability to learn and utilize computer applications.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must consent to and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background investigation.
