Key Responsibilities:
As a Liquor Sales Associate at Big Y, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality products, and creating a positive shopping experience.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Exceed customer expectations by preparing fresh products and providing World Class customer service.
- Build relationships with customers to create sales and plan events.
- Check stock status and item prices in the inventory system.
- Process customer orders in-store and over the phone.
- Maintain department conditions and supplies.
- Operate, clean, and reassemble equipment/machinery.
- Receive product, bag/box products, and perform other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to represent Big Y's Culture of Caring and Pursuit of Excellence.
- Passion for spirits and food through interactive sales techniques.
- Project a clean and professional appearance.
- Be a team player with a positive attitude and businesslike conduct.
- Ability to operate within Company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Work a flexible schedule in accordance with store needs.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
- Ability to learn and utilize computer applications.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must consent to and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background investigation.
