Key Responsibilities
  • Pick up mail at local post offices and deliver it to designated locations
  • Sort and distribute mail and packages to the correct departments and locations
  • Maintain the condition and appearance of company vehicles
  • Deliver and pick up items from outside businesses
  • Empty and sort mailbags daily
  • Collect mail from in-house mailboxes and sort accordingly
  • Fulfill mailbags with mail, reports, payroll, signs, and promotions for delivery to distribution centers
  • Use manual pallet jack and/or fork truck to sort, stack, store, retrieve, and move freight on the loading dock
  • Document location, date of arrival, and department information of items stored on the dock
  • Receive, scan, sign for, and distribute all incoming freight from carriers, vendors, and retail stores
  • Update, sort, and file store tags daily
  • Communicate with the trucking department on schedule changes to maintain consistent delivery status
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to lift up to 75lbs and push up to 200lbs
  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Knowledge of the local area
