About the Position

The OYCR Program Coordinator will play a critical role in building collaborations with OYCR, DOR, and assigned counties. This position will support the Manager with day-to-day program oversight, including coordinating logistics for virtual monthly check-ins, virtual quarterly meetings, and in-person meetings as needed. The coordinator will also assist with gathering data from partner agencies for reporting.

This is a full-time exempt position with an hourly range of $65,000 - $70,000. The successful candidate will be based in Los Angeles, CA 90007.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work with OYCR on detailed program design, including data reporting.
  2. Collaborate with counties to identify and engage local providers.
  3. Ensure successful and safe transition of students to various communities in the initiative.
  4. Conduct outreach and recruitment activities, including public speaking opportunities to recruit participants for the program.
  5. Use tracking tools to assess the effectiveness of outreach and recruitment strategies.
  6. Provide ongoing support and motivation to participants through one-to-one visits, electronic communication, and telephonic communication.
  7. Assist clients to navigate through the program and access needed services, advocating for them as necessary.
  8. Meet with students virtually or in-person to assist them in obtaining needed services and support.
  9. Ensure financial and programmatic reports are submitted each quarter.
  10. Engage stakeholders to review and streamline systems.
  11. Conduct assessments of participant strengths and needs to assist participants in setting goals related to employment and self-sufficiency.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a High School diploma and a minimum of 3 years in office administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, administrative writing skills, professionalism, analyzing information, written and verbal communication are essential. Self-motivation, teamwork, and organizational skills are also required. Bilingual, fluent Spanish/English oral and written skills are highly desirable.
