Summary: We are in search of a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee and direct construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing project management strategies while ensuring that corporate goals are achieved. This role involves managing project databases and providing both technical and administrative guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, incorporating subcontractor timelines and material deliveries.
- Oversee pre-construction processes including quantity take-offs, bid solicitation, bid evaluation, subcontractor negotiations, and finalizing project budgets.
- Ensure project timelines are adhered to by monitoring progress, coordinating activities, and addressing any issues that arise.
- Organize and prioritize tasks to facilitate smooth project execution, supervising the responsibilities assigned to team members and subcontractors.
- Implement quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project scope effectively, demonstrating a thorough understanding of contract documents.
- Coordinate project activities in compliance with relevant governmental regulations.
- Lead project close-out activities to ensure timely completion.
Working Environment: This position involves working in an on-site construction office.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction science, construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- A minimum of three years of experience in the construction sector.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and computer skills are essential.
