We are seeking highly skilled and experienced professionals to join our team as Project Managers and Senior Project Managers. As a Project Manager, you will oversee the design and construction phases of University projects, coordinating efforts among architects, engineers, contractors, and various University Departments and State Agencies. You will ensure the successful completion of non-capital and smaller capital projects by developing, monitoring, managing, and communicating project scope, budget, and schedule requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive project assignments and collaboratively define goals and objectives with the project team and customers.
  • Ensure compliance with negotiated contract documents by professional consultants and contractors.
  • Review preliminary and final plans, providing recommendations for enhancing engineering details and constructability.
  • Oversee the occupancy, turnover, and close-out processes.
  • Determine construction progress and resolve construction issues with construction administration managers, consultants, and contractors.
  • Work collaboratively in a diverse team environment with registered engineers, architects, and construction administration managers to facilitate successful design and construction.
  • Provide excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism, accuracy, and follow-through in work assignments.
Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Execute the development of the construction phase and provide comprehensive construction administration management services on major capital projects.
  • Assign project personnel to specific phases of the design and construction process or aspects of construction administration management.
Required Qualifications:
  • Project Manager: Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field. Equivalent experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable. Four years' of relevant experience in project or construction management. Without Bachelor's degree, must have eight years of progressively more responsible experience.
  • Senior Project Manager: Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or related field. Seven years' of progressively more responsible experience in project or construction management of large complex institutional buildings.
