As we continue to evolve, we are seeking a skilled Corporate Security Engineer to collaborate with our corporate administration and engineering teams to ensure the utmost security for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the development and enhancement of our security vulnerability management initiatives, focusing on both proactive measures (such as audits) and reactive strategies (including patching policies and CVE tracking).
- Establish a comprehensive security framework that integrates best practices into our daily operations through processes and training.
- Formulate robust security policies in partnership with other teams to promote best practices and ensure compliance at SDF.
- Identify and implement improvements in security tools, processes, and documentation.
- Oversee security evaluations of third-party vendors, assessing the risk associated with their products and integrations.
- Design and execute security solutions for network systems, ensuring alignment with future cybersecurity requirements.
- Collaborate closely with IT and engineering teams to conduct security analyses utilizing SIEM tools and vulnerability assessments.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise corporate security or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of access control and identity management systems.
- Familiarity with network protocols and secure network architecture.
- Demonstrated experience in corporate security policy development and understanding of cybersecurity frameworks.
- Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in SIEM tools, vulnerability analysis, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Ability to coordinate security initiatives and lead technical aspects of security audits.
- Proven capability to develop and deliver security training programs across the organization.
- Experience in crafting and implementing technical solutions to bolster our security posture.
- A solid track record of collaboration in team environments.
- Experience in consulting with external vendors.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as MITRE, NIST, and OWASP.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience contributing to open-source projects.
- Active involvement in the cryptocurrency community.
- Knowledge of security solutions including SIEM tools, Wazuh, and Jamf.
- Experience in policy development and collaboration with executive-level stakeholders.
