Job Title: Financial Analyst II

The Financial Analyst II plays a crucial role in driving project financial performance and success at Parexel. As a key member of the project team, this individual will work closely with project leaders to establish a deep understanding of project economics and profitability drivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create accurate and timely financial analysis to support project decision-making, clearly articulating financial implications of business decisions.
  • Facilitate the monthly revenue cycle and support project analysis requirements, including review of units, forecast, unit prices, and revenue recognition.
  • Identify risks in the project forecast and opportunities to improve revenue outlook, communicating and documenting these on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide updates on financial status for assigned projects and create information in response to client financial reporting needs.
  • Monitor balance sheet positions of projects within the portfolio, initiating action as needed to keep balances current and improve DSO and cash flow.
  • Maintain, produce, and communicate relevant and impactful project financial metrics to support evaluation of financial performance.
Requirements:
  • Strong business acumen and technical, analytical, and consulting skills.
  • Ability to build business relationships across all areas of the organization and drive tactical decisions.
  • Excellent communication and partnering skills, with the ability to organize workflow and manage time effectively.
  • Intermediate variance analysis and commentary skills, with a continued focus on improvement.
  • Strong experience with Excel and PowerPoint applications, as well as financial performance systems.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or relevant professional qualification.
