Medical Office Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to become a part of our team in Brookline, MA. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will perform a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our medical facility.
Responsibilities- Manage all administrative duties in a timely and efficient manner, including scheduling appointments, handling referrals, and maintaining accurate records.
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support our medical staff, including preparing patients for exams, obtaining vital signs, and stocking rooms.
- Communicate effectively with insurance companies to ensure proper billing procedures are followed.
- Assist physicians with exams and procedures as needed, providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive experience.
- Perform clerical work, including filling out forms, answering phones, and scheduling appointments with other physicians and facilities.
- Other duties may be assigned to support the team and ensure the smooth operation of the medical facility.
- High School Diploma required.
- Minimum three years of Medical Assistant experience required.
- Medical Assistant Certification required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively in a team setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Location: Brookline, MA.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.
- Salary: $20.60-$21.29 per hour, depending on experience.
