Position Overview
The Project Engineer will directly support the Regional Project Engineering Manager and contribute to the project engineering team across various IPEX facilities. This role demands expertise in project execution, technical assistance, documentation, and compliance management. The responsibilities will span both manufacturing sites and corporate offices, requiring close cooperation with departments such as operations, maintenance, quality assurance, health and safety, and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
- Offer technical support and direction to project teams, encompassing engineering design, analysis, and problem-solving.
- Draft and evaluate project documentation, including specifications, schematics, reports, and progress summaries.
- Engage with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to guarantee effective project execution and communication.
- Recognize potential project risks, formulate mitigation strategies, and track project outcomes against defined goals.
- Ensure project alignment with regulatory standards, industry norms, and internal protocols.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in engineering within a manufacturing context or a related sector.
- Familiarity with extrusion and plastic molding machinery is advantageous.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to excellence.
- Proficient in working autonomously, with strong self-motivation skills.
- Exceptional customer relationship management abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experienced in leading both internal and external teams.
- Aptitude for learning in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

- Proficient in software applications such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
