About the Job

The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer networking and experience in designing and implementing space-based network architectures. You will work closely with our sponsors to develop novel solutions for networking embedded, real-time space systems.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement space-based network architectures
  • Develop and deploy network infrastructure technologies, including routers, switches, and wireless access points
  • Collaborate with teams of engineers and scientists to develop novel solutions for networking embedded, real-time space systems
  • Work with sponsors to develop space networking architectures and technical analysis of emerging networking protocols and standards
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience engineering computer networking software and/or networked software applications
  • Strong understanding of modern networking and transport protocols, network management protocols, and security protocols
  • Experience delivering and deploying embedded software solutions to operational systems
  • Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks to deliver software solutions
