K2 Staffing, LLC is seeking a skilled Level II or III IT Technician to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to deliver comprehensive pre- and post-sales assistance, including discovery sessions, site evaluations, proposal development, presentations, technical assessments, implementation, and ongoing technical account oversight.
- Manage and deploy Windows Servers and oversee Active Directory.
- Design and implement Local Area Networks (LANs).
- Establish and monitor network security protocols.
- Optimize and maintain both network software and hardware.
- Construct and deploy file servers along with cloud computing solutions.
- Configure and implement VOIP systems.
- Conduct troubleshooting for network infrastructure issues.
- Administer Microsoft Exchange Server.
- Oversee telephone solutions.
- Monitor alert systems and take necessary actions as per established guidelines.
- Utilize event log messages to facilitate repairs.
- Address escalated service requests requiring advanced responses.
- Facilitate onboarding for new users.
Qualifications & Skills
- A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers, workstations, Exchange server, and Active Directory.
- At least 3 years of experience in a client-facing role, such as sales engineering.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients at a business level to understand their technology-related challenges.
- Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
- Experience in drafting proposals and implementing technical solutions to meet business requirements.
- Results-driven, self-motivated, energetic, professional, reliable, and a collaborative team player.
- Solid understanding of technology and business productivity systems.
- Familiarity with RMM (remote monitoring and management) tools is a plus.
- Ability to solve complex problems, coupled with outstanding customer service skills and strong multitasking abilities.
- Sales training experience is advantageous.
- Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory)
- CompTIA Net+ and/or CompTIA Security+ certifications.
- MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator/Solutions Associate) or MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) certifications.
- CCNA or CCIE-Cisco certifications are a significant advantage.
