Fire Sprinkler Designer Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team at Allsouth Sprinkler Company.
Company OverviewAllsouth Sprinkler Company is a full-service licensed Fire Sprinkler Contractor established in 1973. We specialize in design, fabrication, and installation of fire sprinkler systems. Our goal is to provide the highest level of fire safety and security to our customers and their facilities.

Compensation and BenefitsThe successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 6% matching 401(k) plan.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Fire Sprinkler Designer, you will be responsible for designing fire sprinkler systems in CAD, using Microsoft Office skills, and reading architectural and structural drawings. You will also need to have a fundamental understanding of general construction methods, practices, and terminology.
You will work independently but as part of a team-oriented culture that prioritizes customer satisfaction. Your strong communication skills, both oral and written, will enable you to effectively collaborate with all levels of management, employees, clients, external vendors, and other business associates.
Requirements and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience with Fire Sprinkler CAD software.
- ESFR experience is a plus.
- Microsoft Office skills.
You must be able to sit at a computer for long periods and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe majority of your time will be spent in a quiet office environment with moderate noise levels from computers, printers, and light traffic.
You will occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, stoop, bend, and reach. The professional office environment requires you to work well with colleagues and communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
