Automation Specialist

Job Summary:
JMH Talent Solutions is seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PLC programming, HMI configuration, and field work. Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and configure programmable logic controllers (PLC), human machine interfaces (HMI), and batching systems.
- Provide field support for start-up and commissioning.
- Perform complex problem-solving tasks, reviewing information, detecting problems, and implementing solutions.
- Manage workloads and meet project benchmarks, communicating progress internally and externally.
Job Details:
- Position Type: Full-Time Temp-to-Hire/Direct Hire
- Location: Phoenix, On-site at customer location
- Pay: Based on Experience
- Education: AS/BS Degree in Engineering Preferred but not required
Requirements:
- PLC Programming Proficiency; Preferable Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix & Compactlogix) RS-Logix
- Industrial Communications
- HMI Proficiency – Factory TalkView SE & Wonderware Preferred
- Liquid Process Experience Preferred
- VFD Experience (Variable Frequency Drives)
- AS/BS Degree in Engineering Preferred or Documented Experience
