Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise the activities of health physics technicians and exempt staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks and projects.
- Radiation Protection Services: Oversee the provision of comprehensive radiation protection services, including radiation surveys, radioactive material control, job coverage, RCA access control, and personnel/equipment release.
- Training and Development: Develop and maintain crew schedules and daily job assignments, including approving overtime. Ensure health physics technician qualifications are satisfactory, identifying training necessary and scheduling classroom training and/or OJT.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct and/or participate in Radiological Services self-assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Health Physics or related Science/Engineering or technical training/education similar to that acquired through an in-grade apprenticeship program.
- Experience: Six years technician or professional experience in various aspects of applied radiation protection, including training in radiation protection.
- Competitive Salary: $119,178,661.00 Annual (midpoint: $148,884.00)
- Incentive Compensation: Eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, with incentives earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
