POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Laundry Service Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to manage the laundering of various textiles, including linens, towels, and tablecloths. You will ensure that all items are thoroughly cleaned, pressed, folded, and organized according to established departmental standards. Your role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness of the laundry facilities and reporting any equipment malfunctions or damages.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform thorough washing and drying of soiled linens and other assigned items.
- Ensure proper ironing, folding, and stocking of all laundered items.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
- Deliver laundered items to designated locations within the hotel.
- Restock and organize housekeeping carts in compliance with safety and security protocols.
- Return lost items found in guest areas to the appropriate department, documenting necessary details.
- Notify management of any unsafe conditions or maintenance needs.
