Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional leader to serve as the Section Chief of Pediatric Rheumatology at a nationally ranked academic Department of Pediatrics. The successful candidate will have experience working within an academic environment, the ability to work independently with expertise, and the desire to develop and build a program with full Department and Institutional support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee, lead, and manage the development and expansion of all aspects and missions related to the Section of Pediatric Rheumatology.
  • Recruit and lead a team of faculty clinicians who are committed to excellence in patient care.
  • Engage in teaching and mentorship of learners and students.
  • Participate in direct patient care in both the outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Oversee and direct the program's growth, expansion, and development.
Requirements
  • Board-certified/board-eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Rheumatology.
  • Post-fellowship experience with a focus on clinical patient care within an academic environment.
