Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider - Pediatric Rheumatology

OU Health is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider - Pediatric Rheumatology to join our team. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive care to patients in a dual role of outpatient and/or inpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, manage, educate, health promote, and care coordinate for patients and families with acute and chronic health needs.
  • Work with administrative, nursing, physician, and university faculty to assure safe, effective, quality patient care and to promote OU Health's educational and research missions.
  • Provide care within your scope of practice as outlined by applicable state law, licensing, regulations, and institutional policy and practice agreements.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing if APRN, MSN or Master's in Physician Assistant Services.
  • 3 or more years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in designated specialty preferred.
  • Must have prescriptive authority within 6 months of hire.
  • Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants must obtain the required licensure from the State of Oklahoma within 30 days after the offer of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active RN and APNP license in State of Oklahoma -AND-Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC and/or the AANP.
  • Active PA license in State of Oklahoma -AND-Active Physician Assistant certification issued by the NCCPA.
