Therapitas is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Occupational Therapy to lead our pediatric therapy department.

We are a mission-driven organization dedicated to providing quality therapy services to Spanish-speaking children and families. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for occupational therapy and a proven track record of leadership and supervision.

The Director of Occupational Therapy will be responsible for developing and implementing evidence-based therapy programs, supervising a team of occupational therapists, and collaborating with clinical directors to ensure the highest quality of care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures
  • Supervising and mentoring occupational therapists
  • Collaborating with clinical directors to ensure quality of care
  • Networking with schools and other professionals to attract top talent
  • Facilitating a robust fieldwork program to develop the next generation of therapists

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in occupational therapy or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy, including leadership and supervision
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of state and insurance regulations
  • Commitment to evidence-based research and continuous learning
