Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled HVAC Controls Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing basic preventative maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, and general servicing activities under direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Loads system-level controller software and performs basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices.
- Completes all required commissioning documentation and keeps management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues.
- Calibrates systems requiring basic electronic test equipment and completes administrative tasks including time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
- Documents changes and provides information for as-built documentation and communicates with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems, sequence, and applications.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
- Basic computer skills required and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and listening skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
