About the Role

As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for various building management systems (BMS). Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the seamless integration of systems and equipment, as well as troubleshooting and commissioning BMS systems and electronics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop control systems for BMS, ensuring compliance with project requirements
  • Procure required components for projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Develop graphical representations of customers' systems, utilizing industry-standard software
  • Integrate systems and equipment into BMS, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime
  • Troubleshoot and commission BMS systems and electronics, resolving issues efficiently
  • Provide technical sales assistance, supporting sales teams in identifying and addressing customer needs
  • Collaborate with owners to provide training and support, ensuring successful system implementation
  • Develop and maintain DDC control databases, user graphical interfaces, third-party integrations, and points mapping
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two years of related HVAC controls experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with logic programming, data networking, and cybersecurity a plus
  • Intermediate knowledge of IP-based networking and mechanical systems industry knowledge
  • Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical specifications
