Job Description:

">

We are seeking an experienced Director of Development to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing our annual development plan, stewarding existing donor relationships, and building new ones to support our programs and services.

">

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in philanthropy and development, with experience in individual giving, major gifts, grant writing, and event planning. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with donors, stakeholders, and staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet our annual goals">
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, including major gift prospects, corporate partners, and foundation supporters">
  • Manage and execute events, campaigns, and other fundraising initiatives to engage our donor base">
  • Work closely with our Executive Director and Board of Directors to develop and implement strategic plans for fundraising and program growth">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">

• 8+ years of experience in fundraising and development, with a strong background in individual giving, major gifts, grant writing, and event planning

">

• Proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding fundraising goals

">

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with donors, stakeholders, and staff members

">

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively

">

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability

">

• Familiarity with Salesforce and other CRM systems, with experience in data analysis and reporting

">

• Passion for working with youth and commitment to social justice

">

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 10 paid holidays, 20 days paid time off, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
