Job Summary

PennState Health is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting pharmacists with preparing and charging prescriptions, organizing and managing stock, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and charging prescriptions/medications.
  • Organize and manage stock to ensure efficient daily activities.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry and record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry developments.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6 months of experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy with medical terminology and computer skills required.
  • PTCB certification required.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
