**BGIS is seeking a seasoned Critical Facility Engineer Lead to join our team in a Data Center environment.**
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of critical environment procedures and protocols.
- Oversee the use and reporting of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
- Supervise contractors and ensure adherence to Safety Policy and Procedures.
- Act as a liaison between clients and project teams, maintaining positive and professional relationships.
- Resolve maintenance issues and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly work order assignments.
- Monitor systems data for abnormal trends and suggest adjustments.
- Manage the development of new projects and troubleshoot system upgrades.
- Order parts and supplies for maintenance and repairs, and solicit proposals for outsourced work.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure their work meets BGIS and client standards.
- Perform maintenance to ensure the highest level of efficiency without disruption to the business.
- Accurately and timely complete work order requests, and escalate issues as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent work experience.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems typically used in critical environments.
- Ability to lead and coordinate teams, with 2 years' experience in Critical Environment required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability and willingness to travel regionally.
- Physical ability to walk job sites in uneven terrain.
- Provide personal transportation for meetings and job visits away from the office, reimbursed.
- Ability to work at heights and from ladders.
- Ability to regularly walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Respond to off-hour emergency calls.
