Job Title: Estimating Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Estimating Engineer to join our team at Skanska. As an Estimating Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development of accurate and timely cost estimates for large, complex construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Estimating Department in the development of cost estimates for bid-build, design-build, CM/GC, PPP, and EPC projects.
  • Support the delivery of properly organized estimates, budgets, and schedules, including managing Skanska's risk.
  • Determine accurate quantity surveys, prepare subcontractor and vendor work scopes, and analyze quotes.
  • Meet critical deadlines and work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience with MS Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Proven experience using Estimating/Engineering software: HCSS Heavy Bid, AutoCAD, On Screen Takeoff, or similar.
  • Bachelor's Degree – Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience.
