The Sales Support / Customer Service Representative will be primarily responsible for handling customer issues such as returns, missing products, and sales errors.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish strong working relationships with employees and customers to ensure service levels exceed customer expectations
Resolve product or service problems by clarifying customer complaints, determining root causes, and explaining solutions
Process customer adjustments, create paperwork for returns, and process credits
Dispatch drivers, obtain contact information, and handle wrong addresses
Communicate with drivers regarding Estimated Time of Arrival and handle Return Authorizations with Vendors
Maintain the hot list, communicate between departments, and make changes to redeliver for wrong addresses or reschedule deliveries
Manage missed deliveries, enter Error Reports, and communicate with the Branch to redeliver items
Requirements:
Demonstrate strong ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Excellent computer skills and ability to operate NEFCO's Enterprise Resource Planning, Eclipse, and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service skills
Maintain excellent regular attendance, punctuality, and perform work accurately and with a sense of urgency and integrity
Degree preferred, but industry experience may be considered in lieu of degree
3-5 years of work experience, preferably in construction supply sales
This is a non-exempt position, eligible for overtime
